Liquid sulphur is used in refineries and in natural gas plants, as well as in plants for the production of sulphur acid and fertilizers, in the production and processing of rubber, in the road and house building sector and in the agro-chemicals sector where it is used as fuel.
The Sulphur dioxide in high concentration reacts with humidity and is transformed into sulphur acid which, if inhaled, may cause bleedings in the respiratory tract and risk of suffocation.

Top loading arms can be endowed with a vapor recovery cone on the end pipe with hose to convey the recovered vapor to the arm’s base.
As alternative, bottom loading arms – our model LA250 made of carbon steel or in AISI316L stainless steel with seals in PTFE and quick couplers.

Bottom loading arms are usually combined with a vapor closed-circuit hose with API coupler (API RP1004) or a vapor recovery arm.
