Floating Suction Units by Zipfluid

Floating Units are used inside storage tanks, both buried and above ground, any time there is the need to withdraw liquid on the surface uncontaminated by solid particles or other liquids having a higher density that may deposit at the bottom of the tank.
Suspended via floaters on the liquid’s surface, the mouth of the arm remains submerged in clean fluid even in presence of constantly changing level.

Zipfluid Floating Unit are available:

  • for buried tanks
  • for above ground tanks
  • In a range from 2” to 16”
  • In different materials: aluminum, stainless steel or carbon steel

FU100 SERIES Floating Suction Unit Underground Tank

FU100 Series - Floating Suction Unit Underground Tank

Floating suction units allow the withdrawal of clean product just below the surface of the liquid. FU100 series is designed for underground tanks. Floating Suction Units in all materials are suitable to be used in storage tanks ATEX Cat. 2 and 3.

All units are designed according to U.S Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board guidelines, to prevent electrostatic discharge.
