
Cryoload, Zipfluid cryogenic loading arm
Our LA700 Series Cryoload Cryogenic Stations are used for loading and unloading cryogenic liquids (e.g. GLN) on wheel and rail tankers.
Cryoload cryogenic stations can be configured and optimized for both side and rear loading.
The cryogenic loading skid is a compact turnkey system ready to be plug and play, is composed by:
- Steel Frame that hosts all the skid component, it’s optimized in order to have a minimum footprint and easy to be handled and maintained.
- LNG Line complete with automatic flow control valve, mass flow meter and process sensors (temperature, pressure, etc.).
- BOG Line complete with automatic flow control valve, mass flow meter and process sensors (temperature, pressure, etc.).
- N2 Line complete with automatic control valve and process sensors for purging purpose.
- Air Line complete with automatic control valve and process sensors for valves actuators supply.
- LNG and BOG Loading Arms optimized for lateral and rear loading, easy to be used by a single operator, balanced and with a breakaway valve for emergency disconnection in case of accidental departure of the tank truck
- Insulation and Cladding in order to prevent the formation of ice on the surfaces and minimize heat exchange according with customer requirements.
- Control Panel with HMI in order to manage all the loading phases, safety features, self diagnosis, DCS communications and badge reader control. The HMI is specifically designed in order to be user friendly and guide the operator during the loading activities.
- Earthing Monitor with capacitive and resistive technology, SIL-2 certified.
- Leakage Detection System that allows to have a continuous leakage check before/during and after the loading.

The main functionalities of the cryogenic loading skid are:
- Tank truck loading with management of LNG and BOG lines
- Predetermination of the batch to be load, management of process sensors / actuators and management of various safety interlocks
- Management of the LNG RECIRCULATION PHASE for cryogenic temperature continuation
- Management of the INERTIZATION and initial leakage test phase
- Management of the COOLING PHASE (cooling down)
- Management of the LOADING PHASE with RUMP UP and RUMP DOWN
- Management of the PURGING & DRAIN PHASE at the end of the loading
- Management of the SKID EMPTYING PHASE FOR COMPLETE MAINTENANCE
